Jr. Jags signups begin Saturday

The Ridgeland Jr. Jaguars are ready for the football season. The youth organization begins signups Saturday, July 1 in front of Center Court in Ridgeland from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Devenwood unveils remodeled community

Devenwood Apartments in Ridgeland hosted a ribbon cutting and open house June 19 for its new remodeled community. Located at 137 Captain Bill Road, the community boasts 24 one-bedroom homes, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, and washer and dryer connections in each unit.

The Ridgeland Police Department needs the public’s help identifying a female they say went into the Shell Station at 8309 East Main Street around 8:30 p.m. June 4 and got into an argument with management after being asked for identification to buy tobacco.
