Last week the Go The Distance Summer Sports camp brought together children from across the Lowcountry to learn about sports and Christianity.

The annual camp, sponsored by LowCountry Community Church and UW Sports Ministry, was held at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School for the third year in a row.

The camp, free of cost, taught kids cheerleading, soccer, basketball, and ultimate frisbee. The Jasper County Boys and Girls Club also partnered and brought out children from their site to the camp each day.
