RHHS celebrates National School Choice Week
Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School celebrated National School Choice Week Jan. 21-27.
Student ambassadors met with Kelvin Simmons, the career specialist, to spearhead a week of activities promoting school pride and sharing why the students love RHHS.
The high school believes every child deserves an effective, challenging, and motivating education.
“National School Choice week has been an exciting week here at RHHS. Our students are dynamic and I can put them up against any student across the nation, and they will compete,” said, L. R. Dinkins, Assistant Principal.
The activities included creating a video showcasing the initiatives at RHHS; students signed the RHHS Pride Pledge; students wrote on the topic, “I love my school because.”; information was shared with parents and community members at the School Improvement and Parent, Teacher, Student Association meetings; and there was a schoolwide red and black day.
The student ambassadors were Miss Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School Angel Jackson, Karen Cervantes, Tuesday Cabang, Kimbraia Brown, Rashamel Butler, Ayana Mungin, Jonathan Cristofoletti, Nakel Pinckney, Andrea Habersham, Irvin Espinoza, Kaitlyn Sutton and Nallely Machias.
