Thomas headed to All-American football showcase
Thomas Heyward’s Logan Thomas is headed to the Blue-Grey All-American Super Combine at AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys) in Arlington, Tex.
The event, one of five Super Combines nationwide, is June 24-25.
Thomas, a rising senior quarterback, was invited after participating in the North Carolina regional combine in Greensboro, N.C. in April.
In his junior season, Thomas (5-9, 180 pounds) passed for more than 1,400 yards with 19 touchdowns and ran for more than 700 yards with four TDs.
He has been a varsity starter for three years and varsity captain for two years. He was a SCISA all-region selection last season and has been High School Sports Report all-state the last two years.
Thomas has a 4.06 GPA and is active in community service.
Players will be selected from each of the five super combine sites to play in the 29th annual Blue-Grey National All-American Bowls at one of three NFL stadium locations (Dallas, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville).
